Hey there! I'm Carter 

I’m a horror-based illustrator and concept artist whose work is inspired mostly by folk horror imagery, urban legends and the wilderness. With each piece, I like to focus on the feeling that something may be wrong beneath the surface of what's being perceived, so liminal spaces and subtle horror such as the uncanny valley are huge inspirations for me as well. Alongside that, I also enjoy scientific illustration and like to occasionally dabble around with graphic design.
